Seven days to change your mind, no questions asked. You keep anything you have already downloaded.

A woman at a kitchen table, listening, one hand flat on the wood and the other resting at her temple. The person across from her is turned away in the foreground, out of focus, mid-gesture. Two mugs on the table between them.

You've had the thought "why do I keep ending up here" more than once, about different people. Different cities, sometimes. Different ages of you, and somehow the same shape at the end of it.

Something small happens at four in the afternoon, and by eleven at night you've built an entire case. You've reread the message nine times looking for the tone.

And somewhere in there you've been told you're too much. You've also been told you're cold. Possibly about the same behavior.

What it’s been costing

What this costs isn't dramatic, and that's exactly why it runs so long. It's years spent monitoring something instead of being in it. It's the version of you that turns up in the first six months and then quietly leaves. And it's the slow accumulation of evidence, none of it true, that you're difficult to love.

You've probably read about attachment styles already, and you may well know which one you are. Knowing hasn't changed the eleven o'clock spiral, and that isn't a failure of understanding. It's that the spiral is a body event with a shape, and knowing its name doesn't interrupt it.

Why this works when the advice didn't

Most writing about love is really writing about wanting. This isn't, and that's the whole difference.

You were taught to identify love by how it feels in the first six weeks. The checking, the rearranged week, the narrowed attention. We call that chemistry. But the attachment research is blunt about what that state actually is: when a bond is uncertain, the system managing it turns up. The wanting gets louder precisely because the safety is lower.

Which means the feeling you were told to trust is often anxiety rather than love. And steady, when it arrives, can feel like nothing at first.

What the research can predict from is much duller. John Gottman's lab found that what separates couples who last isn't how much they fight or how well matched they seem. It's whether repair attempts get made and received. So that's what this program builds, in the order it has to be built: see the pattern, catch the spiral, steady the body, then repair. The words come fourth on purpose, because a script rarely survives a flooded nervous system.

And the unit is smaller than a repair. Gottman calls the smallest move a bid: look at that bird, my back hurts, read this. In his newlywed studies, couples still together six years later had turned toward those about 86% of the time. The ones who divorced, about a third. So the thing that matters most here is something you can start watching for tonight, without having a single conversation about the relationship.

The published psychology behind these six modules

Researchers, not testimonials. Each name links to a plain-English summary of what they actually found, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.

What it draws on

The work draws on research rather than reassurance. Hazan and Shaver, and Levine and Heller, on adult attachment and protest behavior. Siegel on the window of tolerance. Gottman on flooding, the Four Horsemen, bids for connection, and repair as the real predictor. Rosenberg on saying a hard thing so it can be heard. And the Bowen and Schnarch lineage on staying yourself while staying close.

What you get

  1. 01The Pattern You Were GivenWhere it came from, and which of the four patterns you were handed. That answer decides which module you slow down in.
  2. 02The SpiralSix steps, and only one of them is editable. Learning which is most of the work.
  3. 03Before You Say AnythingThe number past which talking makes it worse, and why the break has to last twenty minutes.
  4. 04Fight Better, Repair FasterThe longest module. Criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling: what each does, what to use instead, and how repair works.
  5. 05Staying YourselfDeliberately the lightest. One two-column audit of what you've let go of, and one thing you put back.
  6. 06Choosing SecureNeeds against strategies, what steady actually looks like, and why it can feel like nothing at first.

When this isn't the right thing

If you're frightened of them

Everything in this program assumes two people who are safe with each other and bad at conflict. Being afraid of someone is not a communication problem, and better wording can make it less safe rather than more. Coercive control counts, financial control counts, and so does being frightened without ever having been hit. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788, any hour, confidential. Please don't buy a workbook for this.

If most days are hard right now

If you're not functioning, that deserves a therapist rather than a program. The same goes if the flatness has been sitting on you for weeks and doesn't lift when things go well. In the US you can call or text 988 at any hour. Coaching works well alongside that. It's a poor substitute for it.

If you want them to change

This teaches you your own pattern, your own regulation, and your own half of a repair. It contains no way to make another adult behave differently, and anything that claims to is selling you something. It will, however, show you fairly quickly whether the person you're with can repair at all, which is usually the question underneath.

If what's missing between you is physical

This program is about attachment, conflict and repair, and it doesn't cover that. It's a real thing to want help with, and a couples therapist is the right place to take it.

Honest answers

How long does it actually take?

About six weeks if you follow the emails, and roughly an hour a week. It's self-paced and permanent, so slower is genuinely fine. The exercises are the part that matters, and each module ends with one action deliberately smaller than your resistance to it.

Can I do this if I'm not with anyone?

Yes, and in one respect it's easier. You can look back across past relationships instead of standing inside one, so the pattern is clearer from outside. Every exercise is written to be answered either way, and the pattern doesn't live in a relationship anyway. It lives in you, and so does the work.

My partner won't do this with me.

That's the usual situation, and the program is built for one person doing it alone. Everything here is your half — your pattern, your regulation, your repair attempts, what you'll do. None of it requires their participation or even their knowledge. Module 1 specifically asks you not to hand them their attachment style, which never goes the way anybody hopes.

Is this therapy?

No, and it doesn't substitute for it. This is coaching — structured practice on a specific skill, for women who are functioning and want something to change. If the two of you are safe but genuinely stuck on the same fight for years, that's couples therapy, and coaching walks alongside it rather than replacing it.

Is this "attract your soulmate" or new age stuff?

No. Nothing here asks you to attract anyone or to trust a feeling. It teaches skills with published work behind them: attachment from Hazan and Shaver, repair and the Four Horsemen from John Gottman, and nonviolent communication from Marshall Rosenberg. Every module ends in something you practice that week, written down as a plan.

Is the audio AI?

The voice is, and we'd rather tell you than let you find out in module 2. We write every script by hand, word for word. The voice reading them is generated by ElevenLabs, built to a brief for this brand rather than picked off a shelf. Two honest reasons for it. All six lessons sound like one person, start to finish. And a line that turns out to be wrong gets fixed the same afternoon, instead of waiting on a recording session. The words are ours and so is the thinking behind them. The reading is not.

Is there any way to tell if it's working?

Yes, and it's built in. You answer twelve statements in module 1, then the same twelve at the end. The comparison is yours — scored on your device, and nothing leaves it unless you send it. Most of what changes here is gradual enough to miss from the inside, and that's the kind of change that's easiest to talk yourself out of. A number you wrote down six weeks before you read the result is harder to argue with. It's called The Proof, and it's included.

I've tried things like this and not finished them.

Most people don't finish online programs, so that's ordinary rather than a character flaw. This is built around it. Module 5 is deliberately the lightest, because week five is where people stop. There's a catch-up email if you fall behind. And the workbook says in its front matter that missed weeks are part of the design.

What if it isn't for me?

Seven days, no questions asked, no form to fill out. Email us and it's refunded.

Seven days, no questions

If it isn't what you needed, email us within seven days and we'll refund it. You don't have to explain and you keep the files. Half this program is about asking for things plainly, without having to justify them. Making you argue for a refund would be a poor way to begin.
