How the portrait is drawn
Four steps, about six minutes.
Answer honestly
One card per screen. Swipe right if it’s you, left if it isn’t. Answer for the last month of your real life, first instinct rather than ideal self.
See the shape
All 7 areas drawn at once, with your strongest signal named first — because that’s the lever you’ll actually pull.
Read the thinnest thread
Described plainly, without shame attached and without a clinical label. You also see which part of that area is leaking, not just the area.
Take the one move
A specific next step, plus the resource built for that exact area. One recommendation, never a list of seven.
Built like an instrument, not a quiz.
The difference between the two is whether it can tell you something you did not already believe. Ten questions and an archetype cannot. This one is built so that the easy way through — agreeing with every card — gives you nothing to read, instead of the flattering picture a quiz would hand you for the same effort.
- 84
- Statements that count — four for each of the 28 things the seven areas are made of. The other 3 cards in the deck are the attention checks below, which is why it comes to 87.
- 40
- Written back to front so that swiping the same way every time can't produce a flattering picture. Agreeing with everything is not a strategy here.
- 3
- Attention checks — ordinary-looking cards that tell us whether the deck was answered or rushed. They don't affect your result. They tell us how much to trust it.
- .75
- Consistency, so far — how steadily the test measures the same thing twice, on a scale where .70 and up is what research instruments aim for. Ours comes from design testing rather than real answers, and gets recalculated once enough women have taken it.
And it is free. Not a sample, not the first area with the rest behind a card — the whole read on all seven, with the one move at the end.
A test that finds something to sell everyone stops being believable.
- Rank you against other women
- Give you a grade, a score out of ten, or a percentile
- Diagnose anything — it isn’t a clinical instrument
- Hand you an archetype designed to make a sale feel like destiny
If you’re strong across all seven, we say so and sell you nothing. Being told you’re doing well is a legitimate result, and it’s one almost no quiz in this market will ever give you.
Your portrait is one honest sitting away.
87 cards, about 6 minutes, and it ends in one move rather than a list of seven.

The Life Portrait is a self-reflection tool grounded in psychological research — it is not a psychological evaluation, medical screening, or diagnosis. What that means.
